Project Background
As a powerhouse of the automotive industry, Germany faces the challenge of deploying charging facilities efficiently in urban centers. The goal is to build a ubiquitous charging network that blends seamlessly into the urban landscape.
Implementation
An innovative “street-light charging” model was adopted, integrating charging piles into street lamp poles to make full use of existing public facilities without occupying additional land, significantly lowering construction costs and deployment difficulty.
Project Significance
- Maximizing space utilization: effectively solving the pain point of finding suitable sites for charging facilities in city centers.
- Enhancing urban aesthetics: unified and clean designs that blend perfectly into the urban landscape.
- Providing an efficient benchmark: offering a reference for building charging networks in high-density cities.
- Accelerating EV adoption: effectively eliminating drivers’ range anxiety.
